Tri-fold Card

This is a trifold card that I had alot of fun with!

This is a double slider card I made about a year ago!

Had to make 10 cards for a swap and wasn't really in the mood to be creative, but this is what I came up with.

using labels on card front

Love using labels on card fronts and if you stamp your images on them, then use painters tape and stick it to the front of the labels, you can peel them all off the backing at once and place them on your card without worrying about placing them one at a time and making them even!

A window card I made quite a while back. the butterfly is actually stuck to the inside of the card.

Wedding swap

A card I made for a swap, had to make t0 of them. Thought this was a great idea until I was tearing the 5th heart and realized I had 15 more to go, what a pain in the backside! lol

A bird house deco page I did. I stamped this on watercolor paper, then used my woodburning tool and went over the outline of the twig birdhouse to make it look more like wood and give it texture, then watercolored in the color.

Halloween Deco

This is a Deco page for Maria Mooney's "Halloween Deco" I had too much fun with this one!

Scratchboard sample 2

This is sample two for the scratchboard sample that I turned in to the local stamp store for the scratchboard challenge.

I love scratchboard!

There was a challenge at our local stamp store to try out the scratchboard and I'm seriously addicted to it now! Here's what I gave them for a sample!

pull out saying card try....I love how it turned out!

Fooled around with the faux clay technique, which was odd for me since I do alot of clay work!

A get well card I made for a friend

Been a while since I've posted. Worked on some cards and Deco's. Here's a Deco page I did for a Dream Deco

Playing with new techniques

I finally got time to make a couple of cards today now that the kids are back in school. I tried the faux tearing technique from splitcoaststampers.com and it was alot of fun!

Then I used the "marble rolling technique" to make this card, I actually got the entire card idea off of splitcoaststampers.com. I loved this card from the gallery and since I needed to make a card for my dads 80th birthday, this card just seemed to fit the bill! Thank you for whoever made it and I hope you aren't upset that I snagged the idea!

Just another day in paradise!

Trying to keep busy to keep my mind off the fact that my poor dog is sick and at the vet trying to get adjusted to insulin now that he has become diabetic. He is only 7 and has been very sick. I'm so glad that I took him to the vet and I just hope and pray they can pull him thru. In the mean time, this is what I did to occupy my time and keep busy.....I have been making invitations for my oldest daughter's baby shower.

Welcome to my blog

I think I finally have time to start blogging again. Tried this before at Xanga and got so bogged down with trying to reply to everyone that posted to me, I gave up and got rid of account. Hoping I won't feel so stressed about replying this time. After all, with 5 kids...I don't have alot of spare time, and what spare time I do have, I would rather be crafting!
