Played around today and got two cards made

Wednesday, July 15, 2009

Another faux clay, but this time I rubbed some "rub on metallics" on the floral part and it showed up better...may have to go back and do that to the white faux clay one!

I made this one using the scrap paper from a cricut cutout...that is the lighter pink paper, I just layered it over a darker pink and added some white dots with a gel pen. I thought it turned out kinda neat and had to use it for something! This image makes it look like the darker pink is setting on top of the lighter pink. Funny how the eyes play tricks on the brain!

Another card I made using the Bic Mark it's, sharpies and a copic blender pen. I love this technique...getting all of the copic Ciao markers but have to get two sets of 72 over 2 months time.....I'll be doing the happy dance then!

On this card, I colored the girl using Bic Mark it's and sharpies, trying to get the effect of copic markers, I used a copic blending pen and it worked well.

Another Bic Mark it and Sharpie girl colored on this one.....I have some copic markers, but not enough, I have more coming in the mail...but the Bic's and Sharpies work well with the copic blender pen.

I love faux clay...here is another card I made using this technique....the white corner is the faux clay part and unfortunately, the image doesn't show up too well.

This is watercolor using markers and water brush on glossy paper, then stippled some color for background.

I had a daisy that stamped off using a stampin up set, when I got done, it was too huge to put on a card, so I cut in in 1/2 and made these two cards from it....used my design runner for the words on them.

I have been busy making cards the last couple of days......
